Willow Glen Tiger Performing Arts brings the spring musical, fall Folklórico, and fall Glee to every eligible Willow Glen Elementary student — no experience required, just curiosity and courage.
Our Story
Willow Glen Elementary Tiger Performing Arts (Tiger Theatre) is committed to providing the students and parents of Willow Glen Elementary with the opportunity to participate in, or gain exposure to, the theater arts in a fun, collaborative, and respectful environment. Students and adults will have the opportunity to develop skills in areas including: acting, singing, dancing, music, costuming, make-up, lighting, sound, scenery, and props.
To ensure that all interested Willow Glen Elementary students wishing to participate in Tiger Theatre productions are afforded the opportunity, a scholarship reserve is maintained. This reserve is funded, at least in part, by contributions made by Willow Glen Elementary families. Make a donation today!
We believe every kid deserves a shot at the spotlight, whether that's a lead role, a chorus line, or cueing the sound board backstage. Our volunteer-run board, partnered with professional production teams are built to welcome first-timers and seasoned performers alike.
What We Put On
Every program is taught by professional directors and choreographers who love working with kids, and every show ends with a real audience clapping for real Willow Glen students.
Our biggest production of the year. A full cast, a full crew, and a full house. Willow Glen students spend the spring rehearsing songs, choreography, and scenes for a multi-night run on the big stage.
A fall program celebrating traditional Mexican folk dance: colorful skirts, rhythmic footwork, and regional choreography, taught step-by-step so every student can join in, no dance background needed.
A bilingual musical program built around singing, dancing, and stage confidence. Students learn pop, movie, and musical-theatre songs in English and Spanish, and bring them to life together in a lively fall performance.

Tiger Theatre is open to any student currently enrolled at Willow Glen Elementary — that's the only requirement to sign up.
Choose the Spring Musical, fall Folklórico, or fall Glee — or all three! Sign-up windows open before each season begins.
Attend rehearsals, learn the material with your castmates, and take the stage when the curtain goes up.
